Here's a blast from the past, an MG meeting at Montlhery circa 1998, this was a rare opportunity to drive the circuit at full race speed. It's a shame the track isn't used to it's full potential, it's very rough but the banking is awesome. My TB was nowhere near quick enough to climb to the top.
This was a great event, we were even allowed to take passengers, providing they had a helmet (health and safety wasn't the same in those days). I remember taking my father around the track, never heard him swear so much. As I recall Freddy Yapp, Eric Benson, Glynn Giusti, Barry Foster and the late Jacques Potherat were all present. Stanley Mann also ran a couple of Bentleys which were fearsome on the straights but a bit more shy at the corners.
